DeShawn’s Gaming Corner: Corsair Strafe RGB Keyboard

June 13th, 2016 CEO

strafeRGBBy DeShawn Harry

What up fam! Giving you my thoughts on my Corsair Strafe RGB Keyboard. I’ve had this keyboard for about 6 months now. Before I was using the Razr Blackwidow Ultimate and honestly until the Strafe I really didn’t think I was going to fall in love with another keyboard as much as I did the Blackwidow. I also wasn’t really informed about Corsair peripherals, only the Ram options, so I had no pre-conceived notions of the Strafe when I picked it up.

Ed Sheeran is being sued for more than £13 million for allegedly copying a song released by X Factor winner Matt Cardle. A 20 million dollar lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles federal court claims Ed’s 2014 summer hit Photograph infringes the copyright of Cardle’s 2012 single Amazing.
Lawyer Richard Busch, who recently triumphed on behalf of Marvin Gaye’s family in a copyright case over the Robin Thicke hit Blurred Lines, is representing Amazing’s songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard.

Dick Haymes: A Forgotten American Classic

June 7th, 2016 CEO

DickHaymesRainOrShine551711By Jerry Pearce

“Later on, we’re gonna buy a Dick Haymes album and see what’s wrong with your career!”

The great comedian Don Rickles belted out this line at Frank Sinatra while the Chairman was the host of the 1969 Academy Awards to a barrage of laughs from both Sinatra and the audience. He was living throughout the United Kingdom at the time, far from the Hollywood that had made him a household name, trying to escape from mounting debts while attempting to give his family a comfortable way of life. His name was Richard Benjamin Haymes, better known as Dick, and it would probably surprise many that he was, at one time, as large a celebrity as Sinatra.

Demonic House Possessions: When That Bump in The Night Is More Than a Ghost!

June 5th, 2016 CEO

demon-nightBy Kristi O’Toole

All paranormal investigators can agree there are various types of hauntings with the most common being residual energy hauntings. While residual hauntings are exciting to investigate, if paranormal enthusiasts were being honest they would tell you the thrill of a serious-call the priest- demonic possession type haunting is what they live for.

While perusing the internet during my research, I came across a number of stories where I found myself just shaking my head in disbelief at the absurdity of the tale. But then, on the flip side, there were a few stories that had me clutching my rosaries. These are the stories I’m sharing with you (of course).

June 4th, 2016 CEO

PPBy Kristi O’Toole

Former American Idol winner Phillip Phillips’ legal battle against one of the show’s production companies just got uglier and could cost him $6 million. In a bid to void what he called “oppressive” management, recording and merchandising contracts he signed, the 25-year-old season 11 winner had last year submitted a petition with the California Labor Commissioner, alleging the firm “constantly manipulated” him into “accepting jobs and entering into other transactions” that were for its own benefit.

The Haves and The Have Nots – Spiritual Commentary

June 3rd, 2016 CEO

tuck_nBy Elder Hugh Tarrer

Right now, fixate and focus about what you have in life. From the minutest of things, to the metaphorical mountains, whether good or bad, happy or sad. Did you fixate on what you have, or what you have not? Philippians 4:8 says Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any praise and virtue keep your mind on these things. God tells us how to focus and how to think because he knew how fragile your mental state would be if we did not.
