When life smashes your pumpkins make pie, that’s what I always say. Okay not really but it sounded good, and after Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins intimated there may be a reunion I got a little excited.
Billy Corgan recently told fans over a vlog post to expect something “big” from The Smashing Pumpkins soon. Corgan didn’t go into specifics, but sources say that he is referring to an original lineup reunion of his iconic band.

NBA Pulls All-Star Game from Charlotte

The 2017 NBA All-Star game was supposed to be played in Charlotte, North Carolina next year, but that has changed because the league is protesting North Carolina’s controversial House Bill 2 law, which is viewed as discriminatory against the LGBT community. While a new venue has not been announced by the league, basketball expert picks have narrowed down some of the potential new venues.
The NBA announced the decision to move the game last week, after waiting to see if there would be some changes made to the bill to make it more accommodating of LGBT people. Since the governor and lawmakers decided not to make any changes, the NBA decided to move the game to another state.

Now that I have your attention, Springfield isn’t actually demon possessed but rather IS a demon, or at least on season 12 of the hit series Supernatural he is. After taking possession of Castiel’s body in Season 11, the fallen angel Lucifer is “going to try out a few different vessels” next season, executive producer Robert Singer said during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel Sunday. “You need a really strong vessel like Sam, like Castiel”!

On February 28th, 2001, WNSW 1430 was preparing to go off the air. Broadcasting from the city of Newark, New Jersey and known by the catchy title of “Sunny 1430,” WNSW was the third and (to this date) last known radio station famous for airing big band and standards music in the New York metropolitan market, the other two being WNEW and its successor WQEW, both of which went off the air in 1992 and 1999, respectively.
In the three years that WNSW worked with the standards format, a steady stream of on-air talent introduced the classic music of Sinatra and his contemporaries to new audiences, including Johnny Knox, Chuck Leonard, legendary Danny Stiles, as well as vocalist Julius LaRosa.

Katey Sagal has been tapped to play Penny’s mom Susan, while Jack McBrayer will portray her brother Randall on the new season of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ executive producer Steve Molaro revealed at the show’s Comic-Con panel on Friday.
“We are finally going to meet more of Penny’s family,” Molaro said. “We’re going to be meeting Penny’s mom and her brother in the first episode back. We’re super excited that Katey Sagal will be playing Penny’s mom.”
NFL Coach Dennis Green DEAD at 67 – Cause of Death REVEALED

Dennis Green who was a head coach in the NFL for 17 years with both the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals, passed away today at the age of 67. Green’s cause of death was cardiac arrest. Being an African American coach when there weren’t many, Green broke the color line and was beloved by his players.
He finished his NFL career with a win-loss record of 113-94 (0.546 winning percentage) in the regular season and 4-8 in the postseason. The 113 wins place 33rd on the NFL’s all-time list.
