Cavaliers Celebrate Championship Victory in Vegas

Online NBA sportsbook odds have never looked better for the Cavaliers. Dreams indeed do come true, and they came true in spectacular fashion for the Cavaliers who netted their first ever NBA title in the history of the franchise.

Considering the momentous nature of their victory, some much-needed celebration was expected, which is why no one really batted an eye when the Cavaliers made a stop on their way to Cleveland, back from Oakland, California.

The Cavaliers’ victory, while rumored and speculated upon by some, was largely unexpected by the majority of sports fans. For that reason, a trip to Las Vegas was all but expected following their 93-89 championship victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 7.

The Cavaliers arrived in Las Vegas early on Monday, hitting the ground running with a trip to XS Nightclub at the Encore Casino sometime after 2 a.m.

Look out Metropolis, there’s a werewolf in town! Or at least he used to be before trading the claws for a cape. Actor Tyler Hoechlin has been cast in the iconic role of Superman. You can look for him to make a two-episode appearance at the very beginning of Season 2. Hoechlin was last seen in Richard Linklater’s ‘80s-set baseball dramedy ‘Everybody Wants Some!, in which he had a lead role. He’s also appeared in ‘Road To Perdition, Hall Pass, Solstice and Teen Wolf.

By definition a vampire is a being from folklore who subsists by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of the living. Ask ten different people what a vampire looks like and you’ll get ten different descriptions. You may hear everything from a demon like creature to a sparkly teenager.

People’s opinions are subjective, if Edward Cullen (Twilight) looked like Nosferatu I’d wager a bet the movie franchise wouldn’t have the same fan following. Desperate housewives, love struck teens and everything in between wanted the residents of Forks, Washington to be desirable, they wanted to believe in the power of eternal love. So they did.

What up fam! Giving you my thoughts on my Corsair Strafe RGB Keyboard. I’ve had this keyboard for about 6 months now. Before I was using the Razr Blackwidow Ultimate and honestly until the Strafe I really didn’t think I was going to fall in love with another keyboard as much as I did the Blackwidow. I also wasn’t really informed about Corsair peripherals, only the Ram options, so I had no pre-conceived notions of the Strafe when I picked it up.

‘The Voice’ Season 6 contestant Christina Grimmie has died after being shot multiple times following a concert at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando, Florida. Her death was confirmed by Orlando Police who had kept fans updated of the situation throughout the night. Grimmie’s spokeswoman Heather Walsh issued a statement early Saturday morning (June 11): “It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord. She was shot at her show in Orlando and, unfortunately, didn’t survive the gunshot wounds. We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning. ‘Shield’ Actor Michael Jace Sentenced to 40 Years to Life In Killing Of Wife

There’s a touch of irony surrounding this story, an actor who played a police officer on the TV show “The Shield” has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for killing his wife. Michael Jace was sentenced Friday in Los Angeles after being convicted of second-degree murder in the killing of April Jace.The actor was sentenced after an emotional hearing in which the victim’s family members wept as they spoke about the impact of her loss. Jace apologized to the family and said ‘there’s no justification for his actions’.

Ed Sheeran is being sued for more than £13 million for allegedly copying a song released by X Factor winner Matt Cardle. A 20 million dollar lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles federal court claims Ed’s 2014 summer hit Photograph infringes the copyright of Cardle’s 2012 single Amazing.
Lawyer Richard Busch, who recently triumphed on behalf of Marvin Gaye’s family in a copyright case over the Robin Thicke hit Blurred Lines, is representing Amazing’s songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard.

The songs’ similarities “reach the very essence of the work”, the lawsuit reads.

There’s a fantastic story about stuffed peppers that circulates though our family, in an effort to protect the innocent all I’ll say is cook all the ingredients before stuffing them in your peppers.

Ingredients:
4 large red bell peppers
6 oz (175 g) cooked spicy chicken sausage links (2 links)
1 can (15 oz/540 mL) no-salt-added black beans, drained and rinsed
8 oz (250 g) shredded pepper Jack cheese (about 2 cups/500 mL)

The great comedian Don Rickles belted out this line at Frank Sinatra while the Chairman was the host of the 1969 Academy Awards to a barrage of laughs from both Sinatra and the audience. It’s a wonder if, through all the laughs, anyone gave a thought to the faded star that was mentioned. He was living throughout the United Kingdom at the time, far from the Hollywood that had made him a household name, trying to escape from mounting debts while attempting to give his family a comfortable way of life. His name was Richard Benjamin Haymes, better known as Dick, and it would probably surprise many that he was, at one time, as large a celebrity as Sinatra.

Sad news to report in a year where so many celebrities and world figures have left us. Theresa Saldana, who played the commissioner’s wife, in the hit show “The COMMISH”, in the 1990’s, opposite Michael Chiklis, has died at the age of 61.

She also played Joe Pesci’s wife in the hit 1980 movie Raging Bull, starring Robert Deniro about the life of former world middleweight champion Jake Lamotta.

Sir Tom Jones received a standing ovation as he spoke about his wife Linda during his first public appearance since her death. Linda sadly passed away in April this year following a battle with cancer. An emotional Tom was speaking to GQ editor Dylan Jones at the Hay Festival in Wales on Sunday when he spoke about his loss. “It’s very difficult, the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. We were married for 59 years; we knew each other since we were kids. It was fast she had cancer.”
