CEO Beloved is at times, an often overused word, but in the case of the legendary announcer Joe Garagiola it fits like a glove. We lost another familiar face when Garagiola passed yesterday at the age of 90. For nine years, he played baseball, but it was only a modest career. His fame would come as an announcer. Joe had been ill in recent years.

In recent years, Howard still acted and was highly respected as the President of SAG-AFTRA.

CEO I’m not sure how many folks actually believe in leprechauns, but from the time I was a tiny girl and watched the movie, ‘Darby O’Gill and The Little People’ starring Sean Connery (*swoon*), I totally wanted to believe. From what the movie portrayed and from other articles I’ve read, these so called “little people” are incredibly powerful. Thus, I have mad respect for those things that can’t always be proven, yet know are entirely plausible. I mean, why not?

One of the leading gay rights groups in the country is calling on Hollywood studios and executives to boycott the state of Georgia if the state passes the religious freedom bill that passed through the state legislature this week. If the law passes, the state’s NFL sports betting odds of hosting the Super Bowl in 2018 will be very slim.
The bill need to be signed by the state’s governor before it can become a law, and the Governor’s office has received a lot of calls asking him not to sign the bill into law. If signed into law, the bill will give religious organizations the right to deny employment to LGBT people and the right to refuse the use of their facilities based on their religious beliefs.

CEO Generational curses have a strong religious ring to them as teachings based on an old idea have been gaining popularity in modern Christianity. The teaching states that a Christian may suffer under a curse passed down from family members of previous generations. Christians are taught that in order to be set free, the curse must be identified and its power must be broken.

CEO Absolutely sad news to report that conductor and singer Frank Sinatra, JR. son of the Icon Frank Sinatra, died earlier today at the age of 72 while on tour in Daytona Beach, Florida. The cause of death was a massive heart attack. Facebook and other social media sources were blowing up with the news and the Sinatra Family is in deep mourning for their beloved son, brother and uncle. Frank is survived by his son Michael, his mother Nancy, older sister Nancy, and younger sister Tina.
Sinatra, JR. was without a doubt, the reason his father was able to perform in his later years when he took over the conductor’s baton in 1988.

CEO When you think of shapeshifters, typically a werewolf comes to mind, at least for me it did. I say ‘did’, because once I began research for my last supernatural novel, ‘Winds of Change’, I was surprised to see the broad range covered by these mystical creatures. The idea of shapeshifting has been present since antiquity and may be common in all cultures. It is present in the oldest forms of totemism and shamanism where the shapeshifting is usually induced by the act of a deity. The idea continued through the Middle Ages, where the cause of shapeshifting is usually a sorcerer or witch, and into the modern period. It holds a common place in modern fantasy, children’s literature, and works of popular culture.

CEO “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” Although I know that no matter how hard I chant the name of everyone’s all time favorite ghost, Michael Keaton will not suddenly appear before me. But it certainly has never stopped me from trying.
In the past week there has been a lot of speculation and rumors circulating that a Beetlejuice II is in fact headed our way. Those fans whose heads actually didn’t explode, went on to learn that Keaton and Winona Ryder were totally on board and would be returning too. As if we weren’t excited enough already!
