Tati’s World: I Can’t Believe I Have an 8-Year-Old Child!
March 27th, 2018
CEO I’m sure other parents have looked at their children and said “Wow, I can’t believe I have a kid!” I have this feeling at least once a month. I’m always staring at my daughter wondering, how she got here and who she belongs too? I remember when I found out I was pregnant I couldn’t even remember how that happened and I don’t drink! I was shocked I was pregnant the entire 9 months. The day I had London, I kept looking at her wondering if she’s actually my child and not someone else’s? Then I brought her home and everyone kept saying “Wow I can’t believe you have a kid!” “Yeah, me too buddy!”

CEO Imagination, a Martini & a Zebra Chair
March 24th, 2018
CEO As you get older, it seems like someone has robbed you of something and you never noticed it. It’s just that one day you look around and find yourself different from what you thought yourself to be. It’s so hard to let go of the illusion of youth. That’s why I quit trying.
I spend a lot of time in my imagination, so occasionally I have a martini, sit in my zebra chair, and feel a bit like James Bond. Every time he gets old, he gets to replace himself. So, I replace myself in my imagination, and the onset of age doesn’t bother me nearly as bad as I thought it would.
Confidence In Financial Decisions
March 23rd, 2018
CEO For many, the options that are available in financial planning are simply overwhelming. There is a reason that you will hear some people say, “In our house, my wife handles all of the money.” Or in other cases, “I let my Dad do all of that for me.” There are so many different options out there, however, what happens when you chose to focus on just a few for you? Let’s explore that option.
Tati’s World: A Day at the Super Pet Expo
March 21st, 2018
CEO Last weekend, I took my daughter, her cousins and of course my dog, Stitch to the Super Pet Expo. I figured 3 girls would love to spend the day around cute animals and shopping. They had fun but there were a ton of strangeness. I spent the majority of the time trying and failing to explain the “pet people’s” ways to the girls. The questions they asked me were hilarious, “Why do they have so many articles of clothing with animals on them?” “Why do dogs need a bathrobe?” My daughter was offended when she saw a sign that read “Dogs are better than people”. She looked at me and gave that “international WTF face”, I told her some people think animals are better than people. Still puzzled she asked me why? I told her because someone hurt them. She’s said “Ohhhhhhh I got it, they have issues with people”. I roared with laughter on this reply from London!
Budgeting 101
March 20th, 2018
CEO If you come from a low income household, budgeting is a challenge. Being able to afford everything is paramount but also, being able to afford your goals is very important as well. I know families that spend $300.00 a month on groceries, with their kids and everyone included. Then I also know families that spend $300 a week on groceries. We are going to go over some tips to budget for now and for the future.
The Mafia Chronicles: Disco Dancing In Las Vegas With Geri Rosenthal & Her Mobster Husband
March 19th, 2018
CEO There doesn’t seem to be much video available showing the real-life woman portrayed by Sharon Stone in the 1995 hit movie “Casino.”
But one video on YouTube includes rare footage of Geri Rosenthal dancing at pop singer Paul Anka’s $3-million Las Vegas restaurant and disco, Jubilation. To view the video, click here.
The 10,000-square-foot Jubilation was near the Las Vegas Strip at 75 E. Harmon Ave. across from what now is Planet Hollywood. These days, the property is part of the Marriott Vacation Club Grand Chateau.
Tati’s World: I May Be Going to Hell Edition!
March 16th, 2018
CEO We all do those little things that we know are wrong. You know what I’m talking about, when you laugh at something you shouldn’t be laughing at or just being plain old wrong. We all do it and of course we always say to ourselves “I’m going to hell for this” right before for we do it. For me, I have a few regular “I’m going to hell” situations.
I’m always laughing at people falling. I try to be mature about it, but I can’t help laughing. Watching people trip and fall is a tear jerker, I have to literally grab a tissue cause I’m ugly crying.

Tati’s World: Reasons Why Your Family & Friends Won’t Support your Business!
March 13th, 2018
CEO Lately I’ve noticed a common sentiment among new business owners; frustration on why their friends and family won’t support their business. I not only hear this expressed in conversations, but on memes, Facebook and Twitter feeds. We see these questions all the time. As a person that tries to support small businesses, I decided to share my thoughts on this. Now a disclaimer! The below reasons have nothing to do with anyone “I know”. So, if you’re feeling a little Carly Simon-ish, calm down because this column is not about you!
