CEO Book Review: Trust Me: A Memoir
January 24th, 2012
CEO Oscar winning actor George Kennedy has many credits to his name already, but at least one more must be given, and that’s outstanding Author! In his self – written autobiography “Trust Me: A Memoir,” he
takes the readers from the late 1920s to present day with his account of his career, but even more important, his thoughts on world events. He pulls no punches in what he believes, a trait I truly admire.
In Hollywood, which is known to eat up and spit out celebrities, George Kennedy showed perseverance throughout his acting career and even more so in his personal life. In Trust Me: A Memoir, you never hear a bad word from Kennedy about his fellow actors he graced the big and small screen with.

CEO Book Review: Bobby Darin: A Life
January 18th, 2012
CEO Bobby Darin was a larger than life singer and actor who sadly has his star burn out much too soon. In 1973, at the young age of 37, he would pass away, but he packed a lot of living in those 37 years.
In Michael Seth Starr’s outstanding biography “Bobby Darin: A Life,” the author takes you from Darin’s humble start in New York City to his meteoric rise to fame in his early 20s. Starr covers how he always knew he would not live long because of his damaged heart from a case of Rheumatic Fever as a child, which plagued him throughout his life.
Throughout Starr’s book, he talks to close associates who give great insights to the man who brought Mack The Knife to life with this finger snapping style and it took that great song to the top of the charts making it a smash hit and one he would become associated with from that point of his career, to this very day, years after his death.

Exclusive Interview by “Bad” Brad Berkwitt
“Paul Young´s ‘Everytime You Go Away’ is one of my all time favorite tracks. ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat’ was my official touring sound check – acapella song. There I was every gig alone on stage singing this to an empty arena before the fans came in. I probably sang the song over 1000 times.
Call it blue eyed soul, UK soul, Paul Young soul, it doesn’t matter man. It’s his own unique vocal styling & music listeners around the world were the lucky ones. I have had the pleasure of chatting with Paul several times over the years as our career paths criss-crossed. Hello mate! Hope all is well. I think it’s time we do a song together. Just let me know where & when…. I’m there!”–Peace and one love, Corey Hart
It’s no secret that I am a fan of the music from the 1980s. Recently, I interviewed singer Corey Hart who was gracious enough to lend his thoughts on this exclusive interview with singer Paul Young. Young, another successful artist from the 1980’s had the look and the sound that brought him legions of fans for his songs such as “Come Back and Stay” and “Everytime You Go Away,” which raced up the charts in the early to mid 80s.
