Fresh off his reading as “Jim,” in the “BLACK HOLE,” “Bad” Brad Berkwitt has been selected to play “Roy” in Playwright Ken Raymond’s play, “EXPERIMENTAL.”
Berkwitt will be reading with the rest of the cast in front of a live audience at the Little Theater of Alexandria on March 28th. All visitors are welcome to come out and enjoy this reading.

Mo’ Better Blues Star Cynda Williams: Actress, Singer & Playwright Debuts on NewzBreaker Podcast

In 1990, Spike Lee directed a hit movie called “Mo’ Better Blues” that starred Denzel Washington and Wesley Snipes in the leads. In an amazing screen debut, a beautiful and talented actress named “Cynda Williams,” appeared in the role of Clarke Bentancourt. She chewed up the scenery and, at the end of the movie, she sang an amazing track called “Harlem Blues” which hit number 9 on the R & B Charts. Her vocal, 23 plus years, stands the test of time.
On the Podcast, Cynda talks about Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, and many others she worked with over the years. Not to stop there, she talks about her amazing journey on Planet Earth and for the moms out there, you will be very touched by her thoughts on motherhood.

My punk group has been voted amongst the top five bands in British History right after the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath coming in at number 4. I just got off the phone with my LEGENDARY friend, Ozzy Osbourne who said, “Empy you amaze me lad. When are you and your husband Herol going to come over and celebrate with Sharon and I? When you do, bring the band for a jam, Ya Heard.”

February 27th, 2013 CEO $125,000 for a Short Documentary Film Project about TED Prize Winner Sugata Mitra
Sundance Institute and TED today announced the first collaboration between the two organizations, which will jointly award $125,000 for a short documentary film project about the work of Sugata Mitra, winner of the annual TED Prize. The Institute’s Documentary Film Program and Fund will accept proposals March 1 through April 15, 2013 at www.sundance.org/ted and will design and oversee the selection process in collaboration with TED.
Keri Putnam, Executive Director of Sundance Institute, said, “Through the Sundance Institute | TED Prize Filmmaker Award, documentary film will bring to life the extraordinary vision of Sugata Mitra’s large-scale collaborative project, providing a record of his work and an inspiring way for audiences to engage with the ideas behind it.”

Jean Koppen’s play “BLACK HOLE” has been getting quite the reception. NewzBreaker’s own CEO/Publisher, “Bad” Brad Berkwitt’s reading in front of the audience at the Little Theater of Alexandria got an amazing response. Cast as “Jim,” Berkwitt showed his talents as an actor, becoming the role and turning the heads of many in the business.
When the 2 ½ hour reading was complete, the ovation was warm and the feedback was positive. A newcomer to the acting field, Berkwitt has already begun finding his footing in the field.

I know, I have been gone for such a long time and you miss “The Real Queen of England.” I am so sorry for my absence, but my band has been in the studio with Sir Richard Stuckerson recording our soon to be released first album, “Bonk Bonk, Say Hello To My Black Magic Wonk”. Our number one groupies Anthony and Georgie Girl – Santiago kept the band hard (if you know what I mean, ha ha ha) and actually did backup vocals while my husband Herol and I backed up on them! Ha ha ha
