Do you know how to read your dog’s body language? Knowing your dog and what they are trying to say to you is so important. Even more important is knowing what a new dog or one you are just meeting is trying to say to you. The stance we all love to see is the play stance, head near the floor, rear end in the air and the tail wagging. This means the dog wants to play.

Things to look for which could lead to a problem: If the dog has its ears laid back, it is either scared or angry, leave this dog alone. A dog with the hair standing up on its back is being territorial and may be ready to fight, separate this dog from any other dogs immediately.

I personally do not claim to be a tremendous Prince admirer, nor do I feel his loss in the same way that a true fan would. I (like most musicians) have very finicky tastes sometimes, and when it comes to enjoying music, sometimes you just have to say “Well, that’s not my bag, really, but damn that guy is GOOD!” I have tremendous respect for Prince as an artist and it needs to be stated that with his untimely death, the world has lost a nearly peerless talent. He is in the same class as people like Jimi Hendrix (perhaps even more so because he was proficient in seemingly everything he got his hands on) and Paul McCartney. In a way, he was a kind of a mish-mash of Hendrix, David Bowie and Sir Paul: equal parts artistic impresario, musical juggernaut, and songwriting phenom. How can you not respect that?

Working with the likes of arrangers Johnny Mandel, Sy Oliver, Neal Hefti, as well as regular collaborators Nelson Riddle, Gordon Jenkins, and Billy May, Sinatra made the type of albums he wanted to make without the influence of an employer.

Under the veteran eye of chief producer Sonny Burke, Sinatra made nearly a dozen albums for his label between the years 1960 and 1967, venturing into styles and fortes of music as he never had before.

Marvelites will get to see female heroes headline their own films with the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp and Captain Marvel, but some are still clamoring for a Black Widow movie. With everything from Doctor Strange to Avengers: Infinity War staked out through 2019 and a few untitled release dates set beyond that, Marvel now says they are “creatively and emotionally” committed to Natasha Romanoff.

In response to a question about which character is destined to get a solo film in the future, Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige told Deadline, “We’ve announced the next nine movies, 10 counting Civil War, through the end of 2019. Where we go beyond that are ongoing discussions that we’ll focus on in the next few years because we have a lot to do before then. Of the characters that you’ve just mentioned I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow.”

Former “American Idol” finalist Rickey Smith was killed Thursday night in a multi-car highway wreck in Oklahoma.

Smith was on I-240 just outside Oklahoma City when, according to reports, another man driving the wrong way on the interstate slammed head-on into Smith’s vehicle. Cops say the other driver was hospitalized and booked for DUI.

Smith competed on the second season of ‘Idol,’ and finished in eighth place. Ruben Studdard took the title that year.
