BREAKING NEWS: Sign Petition Now to Get Legendary Comedian Pat Cooper on Howard STERN

February 27th, 2012 CEO

Why This Is Important
A Pat-tition

Resolved: That Howard Stern must give Pat Cooper a live mike on the Stern show and let Pat defend himself.

Pat Cooper is the funniest man on the planet. You know it. We know it. And Howard Stern knows it. That’s why Howard keeps running classic episodes of Pat on the Stern Show. The only problem is, Howard has been disrespecting Pat for years and not giving him the opportunity to come on the show. Pat is alive and well and funny as ever and has to endure friends and fans telling him every week they heard him rerun on Stern and they heard Howard smack him down.

Kevin Costner: Class Personified – HOLLYWOOD INSIDER Remembers ACTOR

February 22nd, 2012 Danny Allen

By Danny Allen

Hello NewzBreaker readers. Last week I wrote my recollections of superstar singer Whitney Houston whose light burned out far too quick at the age of 48. As I sat out on my terrace overlooking the Biscayne Bay, I watched as I am quite sure, most of the world did Whitney’s Coming Home ceremony. There were prayer hymns, wonderful singing and moving tributes, but none more than the one that actor Kevin Costner delivered .

It was very moving, well written and a look at a rare side of a talented actor that showed all of the humbleness I actually knew about for several years….

In 1986, one of my dearest friends for years actor Charles Martin Smith, who went back with me since 1973, when we first met on the set of George Lucas’ directed movie American Graffiti was working on THE UNTOUCHABLES. It was a film that would go on to be a classic that brought Sean Connery, his first well deserved Oscar. Brian De Palma directed and I actually did some press work for his 1980 movie he also directed, DRESSED TO KILL, so we also had a history.

BREAKING MUSIC NEWS: Singer & Songwriter Gregory Abbott Speaks to his Fans

February 21st, 2012 CEO

Hi All,

For the past year and up till now I’ve seen the growth of connecting with many friends old and new. I’ve enjoyed much humor and introspection along the way, as well as the loss of some very dear friends like Whitney Houston and Phoebe Snow. This of course is something we all deal with in our lives. It is my intention at gregoryabbott.com along with my music … to add a little something beyond the typical music site. Maybe a thought for the day, maybe an observation… As we get older, we think about a lot of different things, and all of these, make us who we are. I would certainly not be one without the other.

I’m quite happy with my new album on Spectra Records- “Drop Your Mask”. Thank you all so much for your positive feedback. Please continue to spread the word. I’m always happy to hear what your favorite song on the album is. (So far I’m hearing Sin Ti/Without You and Rhythm Rhyme:)

George Kennedy: From COOL HAND LUKE to THE NAKED GUN – An Acting Icon Speaks

February 20th, 2012 CEO

Exclusive Interview by “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

“So many times people ask me: where did you get your acting training? ‘In life’ is what I always answer.”—George Kennedy

“George Kennedy is a great character actor, who is a master at both comedy and dramatic roles.”—Pat Cooper, Legendary Comedian

When one sees the name “George Kennedy” up on the silver screen, they know that they are in for an honest acting performance that will stand the test of the time. Such proof is his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Dragline, in COOL HAND LUKE. Kennedy, is an “Actor’s Actor” as my late father, Alvin, used to say. In a movie and TV career that has spanned over 60 years, that has seen him rubbing acting elbows with some of the biggest stars Hollywood has ever produced and holding his own, is something that no doubt he should be very proud of.
