Find Out Why He Might Not Be True To You In Madonna Complex: Why Men Are Wired To Cheat – Book News

It’s a documented fact: a surprising number of men cheat on their partners (see http://bit.ly/1hJ2XNz). Now, noted psychologist and author Peter Sacco and sex therapist Dr. Debra Laino offer readers the straightforward reasoning and causes for cheating and a discussion on what is sometimes viewed as “acceptable” cheating. Madonna Complex: Why Men Are Wired To Cheat is now available online from Chipmunk Publishing.
“Here’s what it looks like sometimes,” Sacco says. “She lays on the floor sobbing. She just found out — he’s been cheating. Not once, not thrice, but for years! He says he is sorry. In fact, he says he loves her more than the other. After all, she is his wife and the mother of his kids. With his palms pressed against his forehead, it is his turn to cry, ‘I can’t help myself!’
“Is it real or is it an excuse? Can sex really, truly be an addiction, out of control, or is it just another cynical card to play when the rich and famous get caught? When is it BS and when is it really worth saving the marriage? After all if sex is an addiction, that makes it an ‘illness.’ Do you dump someone just because they have a mental illness?”
Pete Seeger Dies at 94: Fans Mourn the Loss of a Great American

Pete Seeger a folk singer, but so much more has died at age 94 in his sleep at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he had been for six days. My late father Alvin Berkwitt, raised me on so many great musical artists and Pete was always in his rotation of albums. I can recall my father telling me they had met and that Seeger just didn’t talk the talk, but he walked the walk when it came to humanity. We lost a great man, but the world will have his music and remember his kindness to Planet Earth for decades to come.
NewzBreaker extends our deepest condolences to the Seeger family in their time of grief.
Music, Boxing, Concerts: Hit Singer Robbie Dupree Chats

Exclusive Interview by “Bad” Brad Berkwitt
(Interview from 2010)
Over time I’ve observed that I have a special affinity for artists that hail from my hometown, New York. What attracts me is a certain down-to-earth realism that not only influences choice of subject matter, but also how it is expressed. I believe the operative word here is “soul”. Robbie Dupree is from New York, and indeed possesses soul in great abundance.
You can feel this easy, pragmatic, earthy realism in Robbie’s songs. I always enjoy an artist whose CD you can put on…. and leave on. Robbie is such an artist. Easy to listen to. The songs are melodic, the rhythms engaging and his vocal delivery effortless.
I noticed he released his new CD on Spectra Records; and it so happens that I have recently licensed a CD for release on Spectra as well. I guess this makes us label-mates……. partners in crime, as it were. – Gregory Abbott (Singer & Songwriter)

Jeff Strand: I Have A Bad Feeling About This – Breaking Book News

Tampa horror author Jeff Strand, known as the ‘funniest writer in the game’ by critics, beloved by teen readers, and a Junior Library Guild favorite, is releasing his second YA novel, I Have a Bad Feeling About This, March 2014. With two Junior Library Guild picks under his belt and a fandom surrounding his work in the horror genre, Strand is a force to be reckoned with.
I Have A Bad Feeling About This is a hysterical novel about one outcast’s summer adventure, and a gut-busting romp through a summer camp that doesn’t feel too far removed from the zombie apocalypse. A perfect read to gear teen boys up for summer, (or remind them of warmer days) or for anyone who likes a laugh-out-loud, coming of age storyline. As Kirkus reviews nicely puts, “It’s funny, and the gags turn in unexpected directions and would do Saturday Night Live skits proud.”
JEFF STRAND is a three-time nominee for the Bram Stoker Award, and both of his YA books, A Bad Day for VooDoo and I Have A Bad Feeling About This are both Junior Library Guild Picks. Jeff lives in Tampa, Florida, and would last approximately three seconds in a true survival situation. But he’s okay with that, because he mostly just types stuff in a safe bear-free environment.
