Jeffrey Michelson is a journalist, director, designer, musician, pornographer, and now author. Laura Meets Jeffrey is the erotic memoir of his three-year BDSM relationship with co-author Laura Bradley. It is a love story about a man, a woman, cocaine and a whip, set in the 1970s and 1980s in New York City, and told from both sides of the whip. Born in Boston on December 5 in the Baby Boom year of 1946, Michelson came of age during America’s cultural revolution. While indulging in a life of hedonistic excess, Michelson found time to become author Norman Mailer’s houseboy; media designer for John & Yoko, Apple Records and the Rolling Stones; creator of the explicit-sex magazine Puritan; sparring partner to Ryan O’Neal; and a cross-country equestrian champion.
