Goat Man: Urban Legend or The True Story of An Unfortunate Soul

I first heard of Goat Man as a small girl when my father told me of the legend. At the time I wasn’t sure if he was telling me about Goat Man in an attempt to coerce me in to behaving or if it was a legit story; reflecting back now I am convinced that he genuinely believed in the creature. My father never really was a ‘story teller’ as such, but more of the kind to share his vast knowledge.

Sadly, I can’t remember all of the details, but I remember being told that there was even an encounter of some fashion with an entity that my father felt could have been Goat Man.

2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
• 1 cup (250 mL) sugar
• 1 tbsp (15 mL) baking powder
• 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
• 1 cup (250 mL) mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

Drake Lost $60,000 Betting Against Cavaliers In Game 7

Canadian-born rapper Drake, who is known as one of the most fair-weather fans in sports, apparently lost a $60,000 bet on Seth Curry and the Warriors winning the NBA Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers ended up winning the series after making the biggest comeback in finals history, but the Warriors will have better online NBA sportsbook odds of winning the championship next season, according to Las Vegas sportsbooks.

Drake, who in all fairness was rooting for Toronto Raptors during the playoffs, has been ridiculed in the past for rooting for front runners. When the Kentucky Wildcats won the NCAA championship in 2012, Drake found his way into the locker room to celebrate with the champions, even though he had no allegiance to the team nor did he attend the school.

Steve Wynn had a vision. Having come to Las Vegas some years earlier, Wynn successfully reinvented the Golden Nugget Casino Hotel in Las Vegas on Fremont Street, a move that would lead to other land owners to renovate their nearby properties, contributing to the revitalization of that part of town. Today, it is nearly as popular as the Strip.

In 1980, recognizing the enormity of the business that was about to erupt along the Atlantic City boardwalk, Wynn bought a large parcel of land at the southern end of the boardwalk on which the old Strand Motel stood. Tearing the old structure down, Wynn set out to give the oceanfront resort its own Golden Nugget. Just a few months after the Brighton, the Golden Nugget opened on Sinatra’s birthday, December 12th, 1980.

We never thought the day would come and despite months of reassurances from Aerosmith, it looks like that day is about to arrive. This morning, front man Steven Tyler revealed that Aerosmith will officially embark on a farewell tour beginning in 2017, bringing the band’s 47 year chapter to an end. The shocking news came during a live call-in interview with The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM where Tyler, who is preparing to embark on his very first solo tour in honor of his debut country release We’re All Somebody From Somewhere in a matter of weeks, finally answered the looming question as to the future of Aerosmith, currently on hiatus and with every band member currently working on other projects and exploring other avenues.

When I think about the world of casino gambling, two notable motion pictures occur to my mind.

First, Martin Scorsese’s “Casino,” followed by Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Godfather.” Both films contain scenes of iconic dialogue that basically describe what this prosperous industry is comprised of: money, and entertainment. When I think of “Casino,” I think of Sam Rothstein’s (Robert DeNiro) intricate opening voiceover as to how the city of Las Vegas would bring in millions of gamblers each year, and then carefully fleece them of their well-earned dollars. When I think of “The Godfather,” I think of the scene where Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) speaks to Johnny Fontane (Al Martino) about his belief that having high-class entertainment in the casino showroom would be fruitful in drawing patrons into their gambling halls.

OJ Simpson has sensationally agreed to a paternity test to see if Khloe Kardashian is his daughter, but only if she goes to see him in person. Sources have confirmed that Simpson wants Khloe to ‘show him a little respect’ and make a personal appearance at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.

O.J has agreed to a swab to his mouth which will provide the DNA sample needed to clear up the paternity mystery over the reality star.

While I certainly like songs that are technically demanding, (such as, well, almost any Queensryche tune) I also (for different reasons) really enjoy simple, straightforward rock and roll. Lately I’ve been on a big punk kick, digging into classic artists like the Ramones, Social Distortion, and (especially) The Clash. Obviously Joe Strummer, Mick Jones and Co. are much more than loud and raunchy punk rockers, but they are at their best when they just turn up the volume, throw caution and technique to the wind, and just ROCK. A perfect example of this is their 1980 cover of “Police On My Back”, originally done by Eddy Grant and the Equals. In this cover, The Clash continue to show how besides being originators and great songwriters, they also interpret songs in a fresh and unique way, a mark of a truly great band.

Cavaliers Celebrate Championship Victory in Vegas

Online NBA sportsbook odds have never looked better for the Cavaliers. Dreams indeed do come true, and they came true in spectacular fashion for the Cavaliers who netted their first ever NBA title in the history of the franchise.

Considering the momentous nature of their victory, some much-needed celebration was expected, which is why no one really batted an eye when the Cavaliers made a stop on their way to Cleveland, back from Oakland, California.

The Cavaliers’ victory, while rumored and speculated upon by some, was largely unexpected by the majority of sports fans. For that reason, a trip to Las Vegas was all but expected following their 93-89 championship victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 7.

The Cavaliers arrived in Las Vegas early on Monday, hitting the ground running with a trip to XS Nightclub at the Encore Casino sometime after 2 a.m.

You can look for him to make a two-episode appearance at the very beginning of Season 2. Hoechlin was last seen in Richard Linklater’s ‘80s-set baseball dramedy ‘Everybody Wants Some!, in which he had a lead role. He’s also appeared in ‘Road To Perdition, Hall Pass, Solstice and Teen Wolf.

By definition a vampire is a being from folklore who subsists by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of the living. Ask ten different people what a vampire looks like and you’ll get ten different descriptions. You may hear everything from a demon like creature to a sparkly teenager.

People’s opinions are subjective, if Edward Cullen (Twilight) looked like Nosferatu I’d wager a bet the movie franchise wouldn’t have the same fan following. Desperate housewives, love struck teens and everything in between wanted the residents of Forks, Washington to be desirable, they wanted to believe in the power of eternal love. So they did.

Before I was using the Razr Blackwidow Ultimate and honestly until the Strafe I really didn’t think I was going to fall in love with another keyboard as much as I did the Blackwidow. I also wasn’t really informed about Corsair peripherals, only the Ram options, so I had no pre-conceived notions of the Strafe when I picked it up.

‘The Voice’ Season 6 contestant Christina Grimmie has died after being shot multiple times following a concert at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando, Florida. Her death was confirmed by Orlando Police who had kept fans updated of the situation throughout the night. Grimmie’s spokeswoman Heather Walsh issued a statement early Saturday morning (June 11): “It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord. She was shot at her show in Orlando and, unfortunately, didn’t survive the gunshot wounds. We ask at this time that you respect the privacy of her family and friends in their time of mourning. ‘Shield’ Actor Michael Jace Sentenced to 40 Years to Life In Killing Of Wife

There’s a touch of irony surrounding this story, an actor who played a police officer on the TV show “The Shield” has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for killing his wife. Michael Jace was sentenced Friday in Los Angeles after being convicted of second-degree murder in the killing of April Jace.The actor was sentenced after an emotional hearing in which the victim’s family members wept as they spoke about the impact of her loss. Jace apologized to the family and said ‘there’s no justification for his actions’.

Ed Sheeran is being sued for more than £13 million for allegedly copying a song released by X Factor winner Matt Cardle. A 20 million dollar lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles federal court claims Ed’s 2014 summer hit Photograph infringes the copyright of Cardle’s 2012 single Amazing.
Lawyer Richard Busch, who recently triumphed on behalf of Marvin Gaye’s family in a copyright case over the Robin Thicke hit Blurred Lines, is representing Amazing’s songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard.

The songs’ similarities “reach the very essence of the work”, the lawsuit reads.
