Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and Charlie Chaplin Engage In Pugilistic Funny Business With “The Knockout” – Movie Review
 August 30th, 2015
 CEO
By Chris Benedict
Of the countless films which Roscoe Arbuckle and Charlie Chaplin would plow through during their tenures at Mack Sennett’s Keystone Studios (Chaplin’s being of a mere 10-month duration), in only seven of them-between March 2 and September 7, 1914-would they appear together. Only the last, their hilarious drunken carousal in “The Rounders”, can be considered an equitable collaboration. Begrudgingly billed and still remembered as “Fatty” as well as overshadowed by the enduring legacy of Chaplin’s Little Tramp, it is sadly lost on many contemporary movie lovers what a pioneering comedic genius Roscoe Arbuckle was, not to mention one of cinema’s first truly beloved superstars. He mentored both Chaplin and Buster Keaton and it should go without saying that Chris Farley, John Belushi, and Jackie Gleason are a few who owed tremendous debts of gratitude to Roscoe.
Mega Riffs Vol 1- “Heartbreaker”
 August 30th, 2015
 CEO By Ian Murphy
To say this tune by English hard rock band Led Zeppelin was innovative is an understatement. Much press is given to the guitar prowess of Jimmy Page, but in reality, he was just as pioneering as a producer. Page was in the forefront with tones, layering and getting better sounds out of relatively primitive (by today’s standards) equipment in the studio. The opening riff to “Heartbreaker” is absolutely massive.

“I only do things that force me to face my fears, otherwise what’s the point of doing it………………Life is just way too short, so, why not face your fears and live outside of your comfort zone”— Dave Vescio
Dave Vescio revels in playing roles that indie films fans love to hate. He’s horrified moviegoers with dark portrayals of villains such as “The Stranger” in “Hick” and “The Salesman” in “The Odd Way Home”. Dave has found a way to channel his personal experiences as an ex-convict to create dark characters that are believable and compelling to watch on screen. Vescio has acted in numerous award winning films over the past five years. Now, he takes a few minutes to share his thoughts about his acting career and personal journey with our readers here at NewzBreaker.
The Only Thing We Have To Fear Is “Fear The Walking Dead” Itself
 August 24th, 2015
CEO Most Monday mornings during autumn and winter I find myself up in Human Resources. No, not to discuss my attendance or job performance, and certainly not any inappropriate workplace comments, but to talk The Walking Dead with our HR director. A married mother of two little boys in her early 30s, it may not sound like she would fall comfortably into the show’s targeted demographic. Which is the unique aspect of The Walking Dead-its ability to cast an impressively wide net in terms of diverse viewership for such a genre-specific program and drag so many seemingly unlikely people in, managing to somehow please both the blood-and-guts fanatics and ordinary folks who just enjoy intense, well scripted and acted drama.

CEO We’re Back! The Return of Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry Means Halloween Comes Early to Cereal Shelves
 August 22nd, 2015
CEO General Mills has announced that they will once again be resurrecting from the cobwebbed breakfast cereal vaults their beloved sugar-coated, marshmallow-loving monsters Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry. This is music to the ears (think creaking doors, screeching cats, an ungodly boom of thunder, Lon Chaney’s Phantom playing his pipe organ deep in the Opera’s catacombs) of people like me who grew up, as children of the 1970s, not only devouring them at the kitchen table on weekend mornings, but sneaking bowl after bowl-overflowing with milk slowly turning brown, pink, or blue-into the living room while watching horror movies on late night TV.

CEO Men Do Make Passes at Girls Who Wear Glasses: A Tribute to Yvonne Craig (1937-2015)
 August 20th, 2015
CEO Sadly, Yvonne Craig, best known for her role as “Batgirl” on the 1960’s TV series version of “Batman”, passed away on Monday at her Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles home, after a long two year battle with breast cancer.
Whoever invented the saying: “Men don’t make passes who girls who don’t wear glasses” apparently never got a glimpse of Yvonne Craig in the Batman series. Yvonne played role of conservative librarian Barbara Gordon, daughter of Commissioner Gordon. However, her alter ego was the sexy Batgirl, ally to Batman and Robin in their Gotham City crime fighting crusades.
