Potty Mouth Can Land Someone in the Pokey?

January 21st, 2015 CEO

MSBy Andi Goforth

If you’re traveling to the state of Mississippi, you may want to chose your words carefully. According to 2010 Mississippi Code, Title 97 Crimes, Chapter 29-Crimes Against Public Morals and Decency, if a person uses profanity in the presence of two or more people, he can be fined $100 or be imprisoned in the county jail for not more than thirty days, or both.

So, the next time you’re in the Magnolia State, mind your manners.
