COL Sherman Potter: Actor Harry Morgan DEAD at 96 – THE INSIDE STORY

Veteran character actor Harry Morgan passed away yesterday at age 96 from having a pneumonia, his daughter-in-law, Beth Morgan, told the AP. Morgan who acted in films for close to 70 years, gained a worldwide audience when he played opposite Jack Webb in the 1960′s cop drama DRAGNET.

Later on, he would portray COL Sherman Potter in the long running hit series MASH which saw him win an EMMY in 1980.
