The secret world that exists in Hollywood is beginning to be exposed by those brave enough to come forward. Corey Feldman of GOONIES and several other popular 1980’s movies has broken the silence, speaking of the sexual abuse that he, and his friend, fellow actor, Corey Haim, endured. Haim’s death at 38 has been linked to the abuse that he was subjected to.
Alison Arnigram of Little House on the Prairie stated that the adults around her would brag that the “Coreys were passed around” and that “everyone had them.”
Recently, Martin Weiss, a 47 year old Hollywood manager was charged with sexually abusing a 12 year old client. Fernando Rivas, 59, a composer for Sesame Street, was charged with production and distribution of child pornography.
There have been consistent rumors that the Mickey Mouse Club has had abuse problems, and with the behavior of Britney Spears and others that were part of it, the suspicions of some are understandable. These child stars that turn into wrecks when they reach adulthood may be products of this underground sexual abuse ring in the business that has remained underground, until now.
Feldman hasn’t named his attacker(s) due to his concerns that his career will be destroyed, but he does blame them for the death of Haim. According to reports, both Haim and Feldman were brought into a world of drugs and sexual abuse as minors. Feldman has been able to rebound, but others have not been so lucky.
